What Is Shifting Shadows?
Welcome, brave adventurer, to the Shadow Dimension, where the Skeleton King rules supreme. As the God of all Concepts and Ideas, the Skeleton King can grow quite board. Ironic that the power behind all ideas is fresh out of ideas for ways to spend his time. So like many powerful figures throughout history, he simply enjoys a clash between heroes.
In Shifting Shadows 8 mighty heroes, well seven mighty heroes and a stray accountant named Dave are called to fight in a mighty battle for the entertainment of the Skeleton King. Players take on the role of these heroes from different multiverses and enter the battle royal. The last person standing is the victor.
Win and gain eternal glory, a lifetime supply of fictional fantasy Applebees, and a Boon from the Skeleton King. But beware, the consequences of losing are dire, as the Mighty Skeleton King will turn your hero into his little Skeleton Servant. Will you become a legend in your realm or be transfigured into a tiny little guy?
Shifting Shadows is not just a fast-paced deck building card game, it's a place where much like the Skelton King, you can break free from the mundanities of your boring reality and prove your worth.
A Tier above the rest
The game ramps up as players take on damage, and there are three stores you can buy cards from. As you play, you'll unlock more expensive stores, and gain access to increasingly amazing cards. Start buying Tier Three cards, and watch your opponents crack under the pressure. The Skeleton King hates waiting, almost as much as he hates being bored.
Actions and hero Powers
No matter what cards you're dealt, you always have a chance to make a move. In this game, every turn counts, and you have an Action and a Bonus Action to make things happen. Whether it's searching for the right card, drawing extra cards, or testing fate with a random card, you'll never have a dull moment.
A Multiverse of Lore
This is not just a game, it's a journey through the multiverse, filled with real stories and unique characters. From Dave, the wandering accountant, to Mary, the Mountain Breaker— a heroic Dwarven fighter seeking vengeance for her slain friend, the game is packed with excitement, thrills, and emotions.
